Model Airport Control Tower
by russc1Concept for an airport control tower.
From the artist:
When you create a diorama display of airplanes its usually an airport and a control tower is your next needed project after hangars. I have built several different styles of these for different projects but here is one of the most interesting to me. In 1/144th scale, which is very close to the N - scale of model railroading, this is a 1930’s style control tower. The style is Art-Deco streamlining and I went through a lot of images of this style to learn it before drawing up this concept. I combined a set of features from gas stations, a movie theater and a actual airport terminal of the period to get this. Made from card stock and bits of gatorboard to reinforce, the model is on a 4 inch square display base.
Sabi banget maketnya.
